The Invest in Denmark Concept

The Invest In Denmark concept is part of the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs. They work through out different parts of the world to boost trader. They work in most of Europe, Asia and North America encouraging international companies and potential customers to deal with and invest in Danish companies.

The mission of the Invest In Denmark initiative is to attract foreign investment in order to strengthen Danish businesses and there fore given them more of a chance of trading on a global scale. This helps businesses to share best practice and knowledge so that they can expand and grow throughout Denmark and beyond.

Lots of this investment has helped to create a great number of jobs throughout the business communities in Denmark.

Invest in Denmark uses national and regional resources with everything split up into regional areas to ensure that every area of Denmark gets a good chance of investment.

For example in 2007 they made an agreement with the Zealand region. A decision was made to employ a Regional Project Manager. He/She was to be placed in a regional innovation environment.

The year before this they worked to create a more coordinated effort with Invest In Denmark and Copenhagen Capacity to encouragement promotion for investment activities in select markets.

They now aim to not take part in any uncoordinated action. This could cause confusion and be unhelpful for any potential investor interested in the Copenhagen area.

The great thing about the Invest In Denmark organization is that all help and advice is free of charge and completely confidential. They cover a number of business areas including: Life Sciences, Maritime Denmark, Renewable energy and Information Communications Technology. They work within all these areas of businesses internationally to help promote the benefits of Danish companies and encouraging larger scale companies to work with and invest in such companies.
